Based in Toronto, Kai was born in Taiwan and raised in Sweden. His artworks mainly center on abstracted female portraits, combining a LQBTQ+ perspective with commentary on entertainment, fashion, music, or science fictional themes. These drawings and paintings often integrate ink, watercolour, acrylics and collage. Recent works were curated and commissioned for exhibitions at the Red Head Gallery and the Neilson Park Creative Centre in Toronto. Kan’s artwork can be found in private collections in Sweden and Canada.
